A Love Poem to God

When I come to drink from the waters
of your love, you are there.

When I wander alone in the desert of sin,
you show me mercy.

When my tears of sorrows blanket
the earth, you comfort me.

When my heart is filled with unexpected joys,
you remind me of your promises.

When you show me all this love,
I love you even more.
