Official Appointments

Effective July 1, 2026

Father Leonvil Canois, a priest of the Diocese of Port-de-Paix, Haiti, appointed parochial vicar of the Church of the Holy Angels and St. Rita parishes, both in Indianapolis.

Father Bob Showers, O.F.M. Conv., pastor of St. Joseph University Parish and St. Benedict Parish, both in Terre Haute, reassigned outside the archdiocese.

Father Antony Nallukunnel, O.F.M. Conv., appointed pastor of St. Joseph University Parish in Terre Haute.

Father Roger Vazhappilly, O.F.M. Conv., appointed pastor of St. Benedict Parish in Terre Haute.

Father Patrick Hyde, O.P., VF, pastor of St. Paul Catholic Center in Bloomington, reappointed dean of the Bloomington Deanery for a three-year term.

Father Christopher Craig, VF, pastor of St. Ann Parish in Jennings County, St. Joseph Parish in Jennings County and St. Mary Parish in North Vernon, appointed dean of Seymour Deanery for a three-year term.

Father Eric Johnson, VF, pastor of St. Mark the Evangelist Parish in Indianapolis, appointed dean of the Indianapolis South Deanery for a three-year term.

Father Robert Hausladen, VF, pastor of Mary, Queen of Peace Parish in Danville and St. Susanna Parish in Plainfield, appointed dean of Indianapolis West Deanery for a three-year term.
